Description

Not many games revolve around just putting funny hats on a character for pure, gentle amusement—but here we are. Melania Hat: Relaxing Dress Up Game skips all the usual stress-inducing challenges or timers. Instead, you’re presented with Melania—a cartoonish celebrity figure—and a wardrobe of truly oddball hats. You tap, swipe, experiment. The reactions are charmingly goofy, sometimes surprising, and nothing ever feels rushed or competitive. It’s interesting—this isn’t a game that asks anything from you besides being present. No goals popping up, no scores to chase. It’s as if the whole thing exists just to let you fiddle around and lighten your mood for a few minutes between daily chaos. To be honest, this game is probably meant more for kids (the big-eyed animations give it away), but there’s something oddly universal about its appeal. Anyone looking for five minutes of distraction will get it—no pressure to keep playing longer than you want. Not saying it’ll blow anyone away with depth or challenge—it won’t, not really—but maybe that’s the point? Sometimes you need something that doesn’t try so hard.

I went into Melania Hat thinking it’d be a quick laugh or two before I moved on to something else. At first glance, it's all bright colors and simple touch controls—definitely aimed at kids but honestly? After a couple of tries swapping silly hats onto Melania's head and watching her expressions change (sometimes pretty unexpectedly), I caught myself smiling more than I thought I would. Still, after ten minutes or so, things did start to feel repetitive because there isn’t much variety beyond the hats themselves. Would’ve liked maybe some background changes or extra accessories thrown in. Well—it does what it promises though: easygoing mood booster without fuss.
