Before you start hosting, you need to know that only teachers and educators can host a game. If you want to host a Blooket game, you need to sign up for an educator account. There are two types of Blooket accounts, one is for students and the other is for teachers.

So make sure you register for an educator’s account first before you host the game. Once you have signed up for the teacher’s account, you need to follow these steps:

1. Visit Discover or My Sets:

Open www.blooket.com and go to your dashboard. Here you need to find the Discover or My Sets option on the left sidebar. Once you go there, you need to check out sets of questions that you can use in your trivia game.

Sets are groups of questions that you can make your own and use one that is already made by other teachers.

2. Choose the Set or Update It:

Now you need to finalize the set that will be available for your students. Here you can update some questions according to your needs and make them interesting.

3. Select Host Option:

Once your sets of questions are ready, you can now click on the “Host” button that will be located at the bottom of your set. From here, you need to provide rules and time limits for your quiz play.

4. Choose a Game Mode:

Blooket provides 12 types of game modes for the students. Educators can choose any of the game modes that they want and have fun with their students. Once you finalized the game mode, you need to click on the Host button again.

5. Set Rules and Time Limits:

As a host, you need to set rules and time limits for your gameplay. You can make the game easy and challenging as per your desire. Now finally you can host the game. The last step will be the joining of the students.

6. Invite Students or Kids:

You can now allow students or kids to join the game. For this purpose, you need to share the game ID or code with students. They need to login to their Blooket account and add that game ID inside the box to join the game quiz. Once all the students join the game, you can start the game as a host.
